Job Description
We are seeking a Service Manager for the Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Area, with an initial placement in Vöyri and Pohjois-Mustasaari home care (Koivulahti, Karperö, etc.). As a Service Manager, you will have both administrative tasks (50%) and tasks related to health and medical care (50%). You will support the unit supervisor and act as their substitute in their absence. You will serve as an expert on the quality of nursing care in collaboration with the supervisor, staff, and partners. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the quality of medication management and medication licenses in cooperation with the supervisor. You will plan, lead, and develop home care services and nursing work, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care together with the supervisor. You will also participate in the practical work of nurses. We are looking for a person with expertise in personnel management, quality, and nursing work. The role requires good organizational and planning skills, readiness for change and change management skills, strong collaboration and interaction skills, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. You should be solution-oriented, possess creative thinking skills, and be able to work independently as well as in a team. We seek a Service Manager who promotes well-being and community spirit within the work community. Previous leadership experience is valued. The work begins on 29.6.2026 or as agreed. Qualifications: - A licensed healthcare professional as defined by the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994) and a 30-credit leadership training suitable for managerial roles. - Good oral and written skills in both national languages of our country. - The selected candidate must have a valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) section 48. Additionally, the candidate must present a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A trial period will be applied.
