Earthworks Worker – Helsinki We are seeking an earthworks worker for our client's construction site located on Mäkelänkatu in Helsinki. The work begins according to agreement and lasts until late autumn. This is a day-shift position. Tasks are diverse earthworks duties based on the needs of the site. Work may include, for example: * assisting with excavation work * creating, finishing, and protecting trenches * filling and compaction work * assisting with the installation of pipes, manholes, and lines * assisting tasks in drainage and stormwater work * moving materials and maintaining site cleanliness * other general earthworks on the site The position is suitable for a person who already has previous experience in earthworks and can tackle various work phases with a brisk and proactive approach. A background in pipe installation is considered a clear advantage. We expect from you * Previous experience in earthworks * A brisk and proactive work ethic * Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions * Diligence and responsibility in daily site operations * A valid occupational safety card * Proficiency in Finnish * Ability to commit to the work until late autumn Considered an advantage * Previous experience in pipe installation * Experience in trenching, filling, and compaction work * Experience in drainage, stormwater, or sewer work * Experience using other earthmoving machinery or tools * A valid B-class driver's license We offer * A workplace at a construction site on Mäkelänkatu, Helsinki * Day shifts * Work until late autumn * Diverse tasks in the earthworks field * The opportunity to join a professional work team * The possibility of employment in future projects after a successful work period Interested?
