Job Description

As demand for our products continues to grow, we are looking for more quality-driven professionals to join our skilled team at the Lapua factory in permanent positions. Your duties will include the installation and production runs of production line machinery, as well as quality control and various measurements during production. We value if you have basic education in the metal industry (e.g., machinery and production technology, machinist, or automotive field) or are otherwise handy. Fully prepared experts for these tasks do not exist, so we will train you for this specialized role on the job. As an advantage we consider previous experience in machine installation tasks, as well as the ability to read drawings and basic proficiency in IT systems. Your working style is proactive, precise, and flexible. Selected persons will be employed by Nammo Lapua in permanent positions. Who are we looking for? - We are looking for motivated people who are eager to learn and enthusiastic about their work - your attitude is key. - Extensive industrial work experience is not required, nor is professional training in the field mandatory. We will guide you in these tasks that require special expertise. - You are precise and proactive, and you care about the quality of the products you handle. - You want to be proud of your work - just as we are proud of the work of every professional. - Together we are more and we do better. Cooperation skills are required in all tasks, so you are also a good colleague. What is the workplace like? - Our factory has produced cartridges and cartridge components for hunting, sport shooting, and official use for over 100 years. - You will get to use modern specialized technology and equipment, as well as more traditional machinery. - In the case department, you will work in a group of about 50 people. In total, you will get over 270 new colleagues. - Occupational safety is a matter close to our hearts. Closely monitored processes and adherence to safety instructions throughout production ensure that you work safely at every stage. - We are an independent operator: the entire product manufacturing, from design to components and final finishing, is handled in-house at the Lapua factory. What does Lapua Oy offer? - World-class top products that you can be proud to work with. - A long-term and permanent employment relationship. - Flexible working hours and a time bank. - Training for a specialized profession. - Personnel benefits that show we care about you. - Good working conditions in clean production facilities. We hope you are ready to commit to the factory for a long time. The factory operates in shifts, so you must be prepared for shift work. The job requires normal physical working capacity. Selected candidates will undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act and a drug test. Interested? Apply for the position by 9.8.2026. We process applications during the application period and make selections as soon as suitable persons are found, so please send your application quickly. Work begins by agreement in autumn 2026. For more information about the position, please contact Taavi Rantalla, personnel consultant at our partner Barona, tel. 050 478 7748.
