Job Description
The Headquarters of the Border Guard is seeking a system installer for the IT unit of the technical department for a permanent position. The work location is Imatra. The system installer is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of border control technology systems (fixed, portable, mobile) for the Southeast Finland service group, as well as documentation. Additionally, the system installer participates in the procurement and storage of IT materials and other tasks within the service group, such as installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of border inspection technology, camera and video surveillance systems, and basic IT systems. The role also involves electrical work and the installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of communication, radio, VIRVE, and telephone systems. Furthermore, the system installer participates in mast work. The employer provides training for mast work, which generally takes place at heights of up to 30 meters.
