The position of Data & Privacy Consultant involves developing and implementing data privacy strategies, policies, and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and industry best practices. The candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of Data Privacy Laws and Regulations, including concepts such as Data Classification, PII Data Discovery, and Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA). Responsibilities include establishing a privacy governance framework in compliance with Qatar Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL), conducting assessments to identify sensitive data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enforce data privacy controls, designing workflows, delivering training, and reporting progress to senior leadership. The ideal candidate has professional experience in data privacy, data protection technologies, GDPR, and relevant certifications. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, with 3-5 years of experience.
