The psychologist works with clients who came to Finland as minors without a guardian and have a residence permit based on temporary or international protection. Work is done with those living in minors' family group homes or private accommodation, as well as with clients of adulthood support aged 18–22. The psychologist works with care need assessments, therapeutic interventions, and multidisciplinary cooperation with social and health care professionals. The psychologist is a tight part of a multidisciplinary team and does extensive network work. The job description may also include planning and implementing group activities, as well as training and consulting. The working method can be developed to suit your own work, and the scheduling of your daily work is flexible; there is also a possibility of remote work. In this job, you will gain versatile experience working with children, youth, and young adults; however, the work mainly occurs with youth and young adults.
