Full-time Swedish and English Language Teacher - Kajaanin Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy - Kajaani, Finland

Kajaanin Ammattikorkeakoulu is seeking a full-time teacher of Swedish and English for the period from August 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. We are looking for a full-time teacher of Swedish and English for a fixed-term position. The position is full-time. The main duties include teaching Swedish and English across various fields, planning and delivering lessons, and guiding students in degree and custom training programs. Teaching will be conducted both face-to-face and remotely. In addition to teaching and guidance, the role involves curriculum planning and development as well as network collaboration. Teaching primarily takes place at KAMK's Kajaani campus and remotely at various locations, as well as at the site of custom training programs. Requirements include a suitable higher university degree (specialized studies in at least one of the languages taught), at least 3 years of work experience in the field, ability to teach courses in Swedish and English, ability to work in Finnish and English, an independent work approach, solution-oriented and guiding work style, skills in remote teaching, and skills and activity in working with diverse learners. Preferred are pedagogical competence, online pedagogical skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills, active networking skills, and the ability to operate in accordance with the institution's principles and strategy. The salary is based on the collective agreement for universities of applied sciences by Sivista, ranging from €3,796.12 to €5,285.76 per month depending on work experience.
