Electrical Test Engineer

Are you interested in product development testing, electrical devices and EMC topics? We are now looking for an electrical test engineer for a customer project in the Helsinki metropolitan area, where you will work with testing environments, measurements and technical solutions in close collaboration with the product development team. EMC know-how is a plus, but the most important thing is an interest in testing and a desire to develop expertise. Your responsibilities include: developing testing for frequency converters, power supplies and other electrical devices; building test equipment, implementing measurement setups and carrying out electrical wiring; performing measurements and setups for EMC testing; interpreting measurement results and documenting test results; technical dialogue and collaboration with the customer’s product development team; reporting results in English. What we expect from you: a degree in electrical power engineering or electronics engineering (you may be finishing your studies); experience with electrical installations and frequency converters or other electrical devices; experience with low-voltage testing; EMC testing experience or knowledge (stronger EMC skills considered a plus); experience with using measurement instruments and interpreting results; knowledge of electrical standards or willingness to learn; good collaboration and teamwork skills; willingness to work in a testing role in the customer’s operating environment. The salary for this position is between €3,500–€4,500 per month. Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s skills and experience.
