Welcome to join us at the Sodankylä Education and Family Clinic to do meaningful and diverse expert work! It is a small unit composed of skilled and development-oriented professionals, with a dynamic and relaxed atmosphere. The Family Clinic provides services to families with children in Sodankylä, Savukoski, and Pelkosenniemi. As a psychologist at the Family Clinic, you will help and support families with children’s growth and development, interactions among family members, as well as challenges related to upbringing and parenting. You will provide guidance and advice, psychosocial support to children and parents, and promote interaction among family members. Research and networking are also part of your work. We offer: - The opportunity to develop and influence the operational models and common work practices of the Family Clinic. - Support from supervisors and collaboration teams, as well as supervision. - A task-specific salary of €4,584.72/month. - Flexibility in work, including flexible working hours and remote work, considering the nature of the work. Requirements: - The right to practice as a licensed healthcare professional in psychology. We value: - An independent and proactive work attitude, as well as good interaction and teamwork skills. - Experience working with children, adolescents, and families. - Experience in psychosocial work. - Interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude. - Knowledge of the Sami language. The employment terms are governed by the Sote agreement. A 6-month probation period applies. We follow the vaccination requirements mandated by the law on infectious diseases and work. Before the appointment, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with children, according to law 504/2002.
