Structural Designer

We are seeking a Structural Designer to join our Lahti team. The role involves participating in both renovation and new-build projects, performing structural and building physics checks, and producing necessary designs and plans. In renovation projects, duties include strength and building-physics verifications and creating required plans; typical renovation targets include facade, balcony, and waterproofing repairs as well as pipe renovations, and the retrofit planning for public projects and industrial buildings. In new construction, tasks include load calculations and modeling and the preparation of plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and data center projects. You will work both independently and as part of a project team, interacting with professionals from other disciplines and with clients. Your work will evolve with projects and your interests, and there is potential to move into project management tasks. Our team has grown and our structural design organization operates across multiple locations with strong local presence and national collaboration. The Lahti department is newly established; you will help shape its development and growth. You will have autonomy and influence over the pace and scope of your work.
