Job Description
We are looking for a university intern for communication tasks at Loisto setlementti. The internship is suitable for students in communication, social sciences, or other relevant fields, interested in organizational communication, social themes, and visual content creation. During the internship, you will engage in diverse practical communication activities and see how communication supports social youth work, the organization's visibility, and societal influence. The internship lasts 2-3 months and can be scheduled flexibly between August and December. An internship support from the university is required. During the internship, you will: Build Loisto's new material bank; Plan and produce content for Loisto's social media channels; Generate ideas for communication about different units' activities and expertise; Participate in the planning of a fundraising campaign; Develop Loisto's visual identity and shared communication templates; Write and edit texts. We hope you: Are interested in communication, organizational work, and social themes; Have good Finnish writing skills; Are proactive and able to take on various tasks; Have experience or interest in social media content creation; Have basic skills in Microsoft 365 environment, such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint; Are eager to learn more about accessible and target group-oriented communication. Previous experience in organizational communication is not necessary. The most important thing is an interest in learning, taking on different tasks, and creating meaningful communication.
