Senior Calculation Engineer - Etteplan Oyj - Gothenburg, Sweden

As a Calculation Engineer at Etteplan, you will belong to the Engineering Analysis division, the Nordic region's leading provider of technical calculations. You will work closely with our customers and be an important puzzle piece in their challenges. The work is mostly done in our large and pleasant in-house operations and sometimes at our customers' sites. We have a very broad customer base from many different industries, offering a highly developmental and stimulating work environment with varied tasks. We regularly collaborate with colleagues in Solna and Linköping/Norrköping. You will join the team along the west coast, enjoying the best of two worlds: a moderately sized office with a great team spirit and a large company backing you with established customer contacts and opportunities for training to build your competence. To succeed in this role, you need to have a degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, technical physics), licentiate or Ph.D., and an interest in product development. You should have 5+ years of experience in calculations/strength analysis, NVH, or crash simulations. Experience with CAE tools such as Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, LS-Dyna is required. Experience from energy, defense, or automotive industries is advantageous but not mandatory. The role may require security clearance based on current security protection rules, and Swedish citizenship is required for security clearance roles.
