We are looking for a skilled practical nurse for a fixed-term parental leave replacement until August 31, 2027. In the role of practical nurse, you will be responsible for the care and daily activities of residents as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your goal is to promote residents' well-being, functional capacity, and participation in daily life. You will be supported by a solid team of professionals. Your key responsibilities and tasks include implementing and documenting service plans, administering medication according to current guidelines, supporting residents in daily activities, personal care, and nutrition, participating in multidisciplinary teamwork, exchanging information with colleagues, working closely with relatives and other stakeholders, and ensuring a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained work environment. The working hours are mainly three-shift work, including morning, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekend work. The employment start date and detailed plans will be agreed upon together. Requirements include completed practical nurse or equivalent social and health care qualification, experience in elderly care or relevant care sector considered an advantage, vaccination protection according to infectious disease law, fluent Finnish (spoken and written, at least B1/B2 level), readiness to work in a multidisciplinary team, criminal record extract, and medication license within one month of starting employment, with subsequent medication responsibility during shifts.
