Responsible Instructor, Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired, Service Center Iiris, Helsinki - NÄKÖVAMMAISTEN KESKUSLIITTO R.Y. - Helsinki, Finland

Due to the retirement of the current responsible instructor, we are seeking a skilled, development-oriented, and team-working capable responsible instructor. The position is permanent. The main duties include guiding and assisting rehabilitation clients at Iiris Rehabilitation, including administering medication during rehabilitation. The work is mainly regular two-shift work (morning week, evening week), with occasional night shifts possible/arrangeable. The responsible instructor is a member of the service team and will perform administrative tasks such as scheduling part-time workers and onboarding. During children's rehabilitation weeks, the responsible instructor acts as a contact person between the children's rehabilitation team and children's instructors and participates in caring for rehabilitating children and their siblings during the day. Applicants are required to have a basic medication course (e.g., practical nurse). Experience with sensory impairments, working with children with multiple needs, and/or a multidisciplinary rehabilitation qualification such as social services or physiotherapy (AMK) are considered an advantage.
