Job Description
North Finland offers a work and life experience that go hand in hand. The Lapland Welfare Area provides a close-knit work community where tasks are handled regardless of titles and everyone works together. The stunning nature, unique landscapes, and opportunities for career development make life memorable. We provide space and support for you to follow your own path. Join our team in services for people with disabilities! We are looking for a guide for a permanent position. The guide will work in the home-based support service in Lapintia, at the Kaamosranta residential unit, and at the Kaamostuva activity center. The role may also include morning and afternoon activities for children with developmental disabilities. The home-based support service is being developed and is just starting. You will have the opportunity to help develop the service into a customer-oriented and individualized offering. As a guide, you will participate in planning, implementing, developing, and self-monitoring the unit’s activities under the supervision of the service manager, in collaboration with other staff. You will act as a social welfare expert in client situations requiring multidisciplinary skills and participate in the preparation of various client plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The guide works in shifts, with working hours between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.
