You can be an experienced site manager, site engineer, or other professional working in electrical substation projects. The role's specifics and responsibilities will be defined based on your skills and experience. You will participate in projects that enable societal electrification, industrial investments, and new energy infrastructure. Your work will impact Finnish society, companies' operational conditions, and people's daily lives. You will work as part of Destia's Energy Infrastructure expert and project organization, collaborating with project managers, designers, construction sites, and clients. We execute demanding electrical substation, transmission network, energy storage, and data center projects across Finland. The role's detailed content depends on your experience and skills. You may act as a site manager, site engineer, or other expert in electrical substation projects. The employment is permanent and begins as agreed. Your tasks include technical coordination and execution oversight of electrical substation projects, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient project completion. Tasks may include technical coordination, schedule, resource, and installation monitoring, guiding subcontractors and suppliers, quality assurance, commissioning, technical solution evaluation and development, customer and stakeholder collaboration, safety and quality compliance, project planning, procurement, and reporting. You succeed if you have suitable electrical education (DI, AMK, or equivalent), experience in electrical substations, understanding of primary and/or secondary technology, experience in construction environments, proactive and solution-oriented approach, proficiency in Finnish and English, and readiness to travel within Finland. We especially value experience in 110–400 kV substations, commissioning, testing, data centers, BESS projects, and Finnish grid or industrial power distribution projects.
