Job Description
The Elisenvaaran Comprehensive School in Pöytyä municipality has two permanent positions for school assistants (vacancy numbers 2002 and 2007) to be filled starting August 1, 2026. The working hours are 30 hours per week. Next academic year, the placement will be in Kyrö unit, in a small special education class for grades 1-8T (education organized by activity areas). The duties include supervising morning and afternoon activities. Work shifts are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. according to a rotating schedule. We expect the selected school assistant to have experience in managing diabetes during the school day and working in a special class. Good cooperation and interaction skills, as well as a proactive approach to development, are valued. Qualifications are in accordance with the decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. The position is subject to a two-month trial period and terms according to the Collective Agreement for Municipal Employees (KVTES). The selected candidate must provide an acceptable criminal background check for working with children within one month of being notified of the selection. The appointment is conditional until the certificate is submitted.
