School Assistant - Kauhavan kaupunki - Kauhava, Finland

The City of Kauhava is seeking five (5) fixed-term school assistants for Kauhava Comprehensive School from August 11, 2026, to June 4, 2027. The primary focus is on: A) Assisting a 5th-grade student in the activity area, 25 hours/week B) Assisting a 4th-grade student, 23 hours/week C) Assisting a 3rd-grade student, 23 hours/week D) Assisting a 3rd-grade student, 23 hours/week E) Assisting a 1st-grade student, 21 hours/week Success in the role requires initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards school. Collaboration with teaching staff will also be important. The employment terms are governed by the Local Government Collective Agreement (KVTES). Applicants are expected to have a qualification in school attendance and morning and afternoon activity guidance (or an equivalent previous qualification), a suitable qualification (e.g., practical nurse), or skills acquired through work experience.
