As a Patient Porter at Tyks Akuutti, you are an important part of a smooth care chain. You transport patients safely to the right place at the right time and ensure that daily hospital operations run smoothly - every transfer is meaningful. Your Tasks You will work in Patient Transport Services, and your initial placement will be at Tyks Akuutti in Turku. Internal patient transports are carried out at the Tyks main hospital, Mäntymäki hospital, and Kaskenlinna hospital, where you transport patients between different units, examinations, and procedures. Transports are carried out depending on the situation by bed, wheelchair, or walking. Some transports are performed using a forklift and patient transfer platform. Your work is based on smooth cooperation, and you receive your tasks via an electronic application on your work phone from Tyks Akuutti's dispatchers. The work is varied and requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to operate in various situations within a hospital environment. We value fluency in Swedish, previous work experience in customer service roles, and experience working in a hospital environment. Eligibility requirements include suitable education or work experience and being at least 18 years of age. Additionally, we require fluency in Finnish.
