Youth Instructor Vamos Turku (Fixed-term - Rinnekodit Oy - Turku, Finland

Vamos Turku's Olohuone is seeking a Youth Instructor for a fixed-term, part-time (40%) position until December 31, 2026. The services are primarily aimed at young people aged 16–29 who are outside of employment and education. Olohuone is a relaxed and safe meeting place where youth can spend time together, receive support for daily life, or find engaging activities, with a particular focus on the needs of youth with immigrant backgrounds. As an instructor, you will be part of the Olohuone team. Your duties include developing new activities, improving communication and target group outreach, and supporting youth participation. You will strengthen the community atmosphere, ensure the implementation of safer space principles, help youth find their own resources, and provide service guidance when necessary. Work is carried out during afternoons and evenings, and occasionally on weekends. Requirements include a vocational qualification, experience working with youth from diverse cultural backgrounds, and a commitment to supporting youth well-being and inclusion. An open, listening, and approachable attitude is essential, as well as basic proficiency in Finnish for documentation and client interaction. A clean criminal record extract is required. The workplace is smoke-free and drug-free.
