We are looking for a truck driver for general cargo distribution for our client in the Helsinki metropolitan area. In this role, you will be responsible for your own delivery route, which starts from the terminal and proceeds according to a clear plan to various delivery points during the day. The role suits someone who values independent work and smooth daily operations on the road. The work schedule mainly involves early mornings and afternoons, with the length of workdays varying depending on the route. Responsibilities include distribution of general cargo along the scheduled route, handling and unloading loads at receiving points, managing documents related to transportation, and ensuring deliveries and customer interactions. Requirements include a Class C driving license, valid professional driver’s competence card, digital tachograph card, previous experience in distribution tasks or driving a truck, proactive and careful work attitude, physical fitness for mobile work, and basic proficiency in Finnish. Preferred qualifications are experience in general cargo distribution, ADR licenses, and ability to use own vehicle due to early start times.
