The Lapland Welfare Area is seeking a general practitioner for Ranua for a permanent position. Start date by agreement. This position is suitable for those in the YEK (specialist trainees) phase, in the general medicine specialization phase, or for a specialist in general medicine. Your duties will include diverse work as a general practitioner in a health center with four doctors. All health centers in Lapland are currently developing a care continuity model to streamline work in nurse and doctor teams. You will have the opportunity to participate in developing operations and influence the smooth functioning of your work and that of your colleagues. Our facilities in the Lapland Welfare Area are appropriately sized and personable. We know each other, which facilitates communication across specialties and units. The qualification requirement is the right to practice medicine as a licensed professional under the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994) §4. Salary and employment terms are determined according to the Medical Contract. The position includes a 6-month probation period. Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish is required. We follow the law on vaccination protection for personnel and infectious disease law. The employer also has the right to request and accept a drug test certificate (13.8.2004/759 §7).
