Occupational Therapist (substitute) - Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Vaasa, Finland

We are seeking a substitute occupational therapist for the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia, with the initial placement in discharge support, Vaasa. The substitution begins on September 30, 2026, and ends on March 14, 2027. Are you the reinforcement we are looking for in the discharge support team? The job description of an occupational therapist in discharge support is versatile and challenging. The work includes both functional capacity assessments and rehabilitation periods in the client's home. Assistive device and home modification assessments are also an important part of the work. Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and experience working in home environments are considered advantages. You must have a car available. Eligibility requirement: Authorized occupational therapist as defined in the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). Good oral and satisfactory written skills in both national languages of the country. The selected person must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected person must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
