Data Scientist - Genius Sports - Remote - Global

You will join a team of data scientists developing the next generation of Genius Sports’ market leading sports models. These models act as the sporting brain behind many of Genius’s customer facing products, calculating the probabilities of outcomes across a wide range of sports. Join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary Agile team working on innovative products, focusing on continuous delivery and high performance. Develop and implement predictive models for major sports, prototype, evaluate, and optimize algorithms to calculate probabilities of outcomes. Requirements include a BSc, MSc, or PhD in Data Science or related STEM field, strong understanding of probability and statistics, proficiency in Python or similar, experience with machine learning algorithms, and knowledge of sports rules, betting, MLOps, data engineering, and programming languages like Rust or C++. The role involves collaboration, curiosity, social skills, and excellent English. The work environment is hybrid, with occasional travel.
