Specialist Doctor (Adolescent Psychiatry, Sairaala Nova, Jyväskylä) - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Jyväskylä, Finland

We are seeking a permanent specialist doctor in adolescent psychiatry for outpatient services. In Central Finland, adolescent psychiatry services are provided both in outpatient clinics and on wards. Our unit actively develops its activities using modern psychiatric methods. New treatment approaches include intensive outpatient care, virtual skill training, and a family-based eating disorder care model. We aim to increase educational collaboration, and the role may include functioning as a clinical instructor for doctors specializing in adolescent psychiatry. You will work in outpatient services as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your work will be varied and include participation in psychiatric on-call duties. The adolescent psychiatry outpatient services are located in Building 45 next to Sairaala Nova. You may choose to work part-time, and remote work options are available. Why join us? We also consider candidates in the final stages of specialization, with the position filled on a fixed-term basis if necessary. Prior experience in adolescent psychiatry, good interaction and teamwork skills, and an interest in developing the activity are valued. Employment terms are governed by the doctors' collective agreement. The position includes a probation period, and a health certificate must be provided. The candidate must meet the suitability requirements under Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer will determine the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations.
