We are seeking a BESS software developer to develop software and control systems for our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) platform. In this role, you will focus on battery management systems (BMS), energy management systems (EMS), and system-level control, contributing to the development of reliable and intelligent energy storage solutions for the European market. Your tasks will include: - Developing and implementing BMS and EMS software for BESS solutions - Working on real-time control, monitoring, and optimization algorithms - Integrating software with inverters, battery systems, and grid connections - Developing system diagnostics, data monitoring, and performance analysis tools - Collaborating closely with hardware and system engineers during integration and testing - Supporting commissioning and optimizing the performance of field systems - Participating in customer projects and technical deliveries We hope you have: - A university degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field - Experience with embedded systems, control systems, or industrial software - Strong knowledge of BMS, EMS, SCADA, or energy systems is a plus - Experience with real-time systems, data transfer, and system integration - A practical and problem-solving mindset suitable for a startup environment - Fluent skills in English and Finnish Why join us: - You will develop intelligent software behind advanced energy storage systems - You will work closely with hardware and electrical system experts - You will join a rapidly growing clean energy company building tangible and impactful solutions.
