Job Description
Posti is looking for an Early Morning Delivery Person in Hämeenlinna for a fixed-term employment contract starting in August. The role involves delivering newspapers, mail, and advertisements to households in the early morning. Shifts typically start between 00:00 and 02:00, beginning with picking up sorted mail from the distribution point and ending with a return to the site. The work is physically demanding as it requires being on the move for the entire shift. Depending on the route, a Posti cargo scooter or car is provided. The position requires a Class B driver's license and strong driving experience in varying Finnish weather conditions. Local knowledge of the area is an advantage. Comprehensive orientation is provided, including shadowing an experienced colleague. Shifts vary from one to three days a week, with an average length of 2-4 hours per night.
