We need reinforcement for our team at Westends Daycare. We welcome you to a community where we allocate time for pedagogical discussions and value teamwork skills and responsibility. We are looking for a childcare assistant for a 1-3 year age group from August 3, 2026, to July 31, 2027. We value both newly graduated childcare assistants and those with extensive work experience. Your tasks include care and supervision duties, participating in educational cooperation with guardians, and planning, implementing, and evaluating activities in the group together with your colleagues in the team. When you start with us, you will be assigned a mentor who introduces you to your tasks to ensure a smooth start. We have developed a clear structure for meetings and planning times, and even childcare assistants are given time to plan and prepare pedagogical activities. We have two daycare assistants who help with daily routines such as hanging wet clothes and setting tables so you can focus on the children. Westends Daycare is a Swedish-speaking daycare with 7 groups located in two different buildings on the same site. Five groups have children aged 1-3 (4) and two groups with children aged 4-5. The groups collaborate to ensure all children receive appropriately challenging activities. We also regularly explore the diverse surroundings of the daycare, including forest, sea, sandpit, and easily accessible Mattby and Hagalund.
