Early Childhood Education Teacher, 3 positions - Liedon kunta - Lieto, Finland

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed early childhood education teachers to join our team and develop early childhood education in Lieto. You will have the opportunity to influence your work, as we encourage activity and new ideas. Our approach to learning is guided by play, children's interests, and positive interaction skills. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for planning, evaluating, and developing your own group's activities, as well as implementing pedagogy together with your team. You will be supported by a pedagogical team consisting of teachers from other groups. You will also receive support from a comprehensive special education teacher, a visiting occupational therapist, and a digital pedagogue. When you start, you will be assigned a mentor from the daycare who will support you in your new work unit. With the mentor's help, you will become familiar with the daycare's practices and have the opportunity to discuss the joys and challenges of the early stages of employment. The permanent position begins on 3 August 2026, with the primary placement: 1. Hanhilinna Daycare in the center of Lieto. The daycare has two groups. We are hiring 1 early childhood education teacher. Fixed-term positions: 1. Jokilaakso Shift Care Daycare in the center of Lieto. The daycare has three groups. We are hiring 1 early childhood education teacher for the period 3 August 2026 - 31 July 2027. 2. Kisapuisto Daycare in the center of Lieto. The daycare has two groups. We are hiring 1 early childhood education teacher for the period 3 August 2026 - 30 June 2027. You can indicate your preferred unit on the application form. Qualifications required are in accordance with section 26 of the Finnish Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). Original degree certificates must be presented at the possible interview. We also consider graduating students and those studying in the field. Interviews will be held in week 24. Salary is based on a level pay system, ranging from 2937.64 € to 3050.39 €/month plus possible additional allowances. Qualification allowance is 15.38 € (bachelor's) or 38.83 € (master's), and if you serve as a team leader, you will receive a level supplement of 111.42 €/month in addition to the level pay. Before signing the employment contract, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by law 504/2002. The position also requires a health statement regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory system in accordance with section 55 of the Infectious Diseases Act. The probation period is 6 months for permanent positions and 5 months for fixed-term positions. Lieto City is a smoke-free workplace.
