Job Description
Location: Helsinki, Uusimaa Employment type: Full-time, permanent Salary: Property services industry collective agreement pl 5 (14.58 €/h) + possible additional pay Start date: September 1 Working hours/shifts: Mon-Sat, between 6 am and 6 pm A glimpse into your future workday/role In your work, you will be part of the daily life of assisted living. Your task is to ensure that the premises are clean, safe, and comfortable for residents. Areas to be cleaned include resident rooms, offices, changing rooms, hallways, sanitary facilities, and other public areas. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for the high-quality execution of cleaning services at your assigned site, alongside daily cleaning tasks. Your duties include training, directing, and supervising cleaning staff, as well as quality monitoring. Additionally, you will serve as a contact person for the client, handling customer communication and ensuring smooth service delivery. Your work will include maintenance and basic cleaning, supporting staff, ensuring smooth shift operations, and developing cleaning services in collaboration with the client and your team. Your work also involves interactions, smiles, and small moments where you are present. You will collaborate daily with care home staff, residents, and your team. You will ensure that the customer experience is warm, positive, and high-quality. You will have access to a variety of cleaning tools and machines. What does it take to succeed in this role? * Professional qualification in cleaning and property services or other relevant vocational qualification * At least 1 year of experience in similar supervisory or cleaning roles in assisted living facilities * Fluent Finnish language skills * Experience in training, guiding, and quality control of cleaning staff * Customer-oriented and solution-focused approach * Good communication and teamwork skills * Careful, responsible, and proactive work attitude * Experience with cleaning machines is considered an advantage * Depending on the nature of the site, it may be required before employment to have a vaccination against measles and varicella according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (either vaccination or immunity from previous illness) Why work with us?
