Our colleagues help, guide and mentor in everyday situations, and we have received much appreciation for this. Perkkaan Daycare is located in Leppävaara with excellent transport connections. The location enables versatile learning environments to be utilized in early childhood education and pre-primary education. The daycare commenced operations in January 2024. The management structure consists of the director, deputy director, broad-based special education teachers, and a language and culture teacher as the leadership team. Our facilities include airy, bright spaces suitable for a variety of activities, including ateliers, a finger-painting room, a gym, and comfortable group spaces for 12 children. Our culture blends community, positivity and tolerance, present in every moment for children and adults alike. We value open discussion of meaningful matters. We focus on sensitive interaction with the child, collaborative pedagogical planning, and cross-group cooperation. In our work community every contribution is important, and you will have opportunities to develop your own expertise and learn together with the whole staff. According to Espoo's internal climate survey, our unit is recommended as a good workplace. Thanks to a large community, teachers at Perkkaa have strong collegial support including regular teacher pedagogical teams. In addition, we offer Espoo’s mentoring program to support you as you begin your early childhood educator work.
