Helsingin kaupungin asunnot Oy is responsible for the management, maintenance, and cleaning of Heka properties by region. In the Northern region, we ensure high-quality and smooth living for 12,000 apartments. We are looking for a property caretaker for a permanent position. The duties of a property caretaker include general maintenance of properties, technical tasks, outdoor area maintenance, and small-scale repair work. Property caretakers are Heka's largest and most visible employee group to our residents. This people-oriented work, which often involves visiting residents' homes, requires tact and a sense of humor. The buildings and their residents quickly become familiar, as each caretaker has their own designated area. Most sites are ordinary residential buildings, but depending on the area, the site may also include, for example, a daycare center, a restaurant, or a service home. For the position of property caretaker, we require appropriate basic education, a B-class driver's license, and basic IT skills. Skills in operating property maintenance machinery and at least a few years of experience in property care tasks are an advantage. As experience grows, we value the willingness to participate in maintenance on-call duties. We expect a collaborative spirit, a positive customer service attitude, a desire for self-development, and good interaction skills. There is also a possibility of company housing. Remuneration and other terms of employment are determined by the general collective agreement (YTES) of the KT corporate sector. The minimum basic salary for a person starting in this position is €2,241.81/month. In addition, an experience supplement is paid if the employee has at least 5 years of qualifying work experience. The experience supplement is 5% per 5 years of experience and 10% per 10 years of experience. Start of work as agreed.
