Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern with an interest in communications, especially social media use, at the Emergency Response Centre Agency for the period 1.9.-30.11.2026 or as agreed. The internship focuses on assisting with communications tasks and creating posts for the agency's social media channels. As an intern, you will work in the Support for Management unit (JTY), where the agency's communication functions are located. Your main tasks include creating various posts and materials for the agency's social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other communication support tasks such as maintaining the image bank and writing internal news. You will also have the opportunity to communicate about the agency's events, such as staff seminars. Depending on your skills and interests, the internship may also include other communication-related tasks. The position is related to the government’s goal of hiring 500 young people into fixed-term service roles as seasonal workers and interns during 2026. The tasks are especially intended for 18-25-year-olds seeking their first job in the public sector. The applicant does not necessarily have to be a student; recent graduates are also eligible.
