Hello, are you interested in assistant work? Join the Onni team to do meaningful, client-oriented work in assistant services in a permanent position! As a personal assistant, you help our clients live a full life on their own terms. Onni's clients are people who need help with everyday tasks because of illness or disability. You assist with household tasks and activities outside the home. Clients and their needs vary, and duties are always determined by the client's condition and individual support needs. The work is varied and can include several clients and tasks during the same day. A driving licence and access to your own car are essential for doing the work. You do not need relevant education or previous experience. What matters is the right attitude towards assistance work, willingness to learn and the ability to work in a client-oriented way in different situations. All new assistants receive comprehensive induction at Onni's own Avustaja Academy before starting, with further induction during employment as needed. Your team supervisor provides ongoing guidance and support, so you are never left alone with questions or work-related challenges. Work is generally in two shifts on weekdays and weekends. Shifts last from two hours upwards, and a working day may consist of one or more client assignments. You can influence your shifts and work on a casual basis in the way that best suits your life situation. We take both our clients' support needs and our assistants' work preferences into account and aim to match them as well as possible. The first shift with a client can be an induction shift if needed. Afterwards, both the assistant and the client can assess, for example, how smoothly the cooperation works and whether they are a good personal fit. If something later concerns you or does not go as planned, we will discuss it together and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for several Onni clients when schedules can be coordinated.
