This goal is achieved by working together. We are looking for an Early Childhood Education Childcare Worker for Pilke Pikkunuotti music daycare in Myyrmäki, Vantaa. This position is for you if you want to utilize your expertise, develop and brainstorm new ideas, and leave your own personal mark in creating a good day for the children and your colleagues. Work begins on August 31, 2026. Pikkunuotti opened its doors in September 2022 in completely new, wonderful premises. Each of our groups enjoys its own cozy and bright spaces where learning environments have been carefully designed. In our small daycare, there are children aged 0-6 and three child groups. We are currently seeking a childcare worker for the group of children over 3 years old. You will get to work in a skilled and committed team, which includes, in addition to you, an early childhood education teacher, a childcare worker, and a group assistant. Pilke Pikkunuotti is a music-oriented daycare. The daycare's musical learning environment is created together with the children. Children are given opportunities for musical experiences as well as experiences of learning and success. Music orientation is realized in our daily life through singing, playing instruments, listening to music, nursery rhymes, improvisation, movement, and dancing. We provide opportunities for spontaneous musical moments in connection with daily activities. We also collaborate with various music institutes and music professionals. Naturally, the activities of specialized early childhood education also include diverse daily daycare activities, such as outdoor activities, exercise, handicrafts, and play – without forgetting rest periods. We hope you have a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and active attitude, good interaction skills, and the ability to meet children authentically. What we are looking for The eligibility requirement is a suitable vocational qualification in the social and health care sector (childcare worker or practical nurse including the training program for the care and education of children and youth) or another equivalent degree, e.g., childcare worker and daycare worker. The selected person must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
