Nordic Unique Travels is a travel company based in Rovaniemi, Finland. We specialize in tours in Lapland – in Finland, North Norway and Sweden. At the moment we have more than 100 tours and holiday packages in the Arctic Circle. Lapland is a great winter destination offering unforgettable experiences. Because of its nature, northern lights, winter activities, unique cuisine and accommodation and of course Santa Claus, it is very popular among customers from all around the world. We are looking for native level Chinese speaking tour guides to join our team in Rovaniemi office and lead foreign travelers around the region. – Headcount: 5 people – Duration of the agreement: Start as soon as possible and till the end of April 2027, it is possible to prolong the contract. – Part-time position / Full time position Requirements: – Must be a Chinese native level speaker, and Excellent command for English is a must – Must have valid B Type driving license and able to drive manual and automatic transmission cars – Must have driving experience in EU countries – Be able to work for long periods of time in inclement (extremely cold) weather; – Outgoing personality; – Strong problem-solving skills; – Good time management. – Must have first aid certification beforehand Basic Duties and Responsibilities: – Driving guests from accommodation to the tour site and back – Prepare/ clean the equipment before and after the tour – Guide tours in Mandarin and make sure that the tours are entertaining, informational, and memorable for Chinese and other guests – Explaining the history, geography and culture of Rovaniemi (Finland) in English and Chinese Language If you believe you are enthusiastic and have the expected skills to enhance a valuable experience to visitors in the Finnish Lapland, please kindly send your English CV and cover letter in PDF to jobs@nordictravels.eu.
