JTA Connection now seeks multiple travel-ready PLC commissioning engineers for international client projects. We offer diverse automation commissioning projects across manufacturing industries and shipyard environments worldwide. In this role you will work hands-on with modern automation solutions deployment and client projects. What the job includes? As a PLC commissioning engineer you participate in commissioning, testing, and changes during commissioning together with the rest of the project team. Projects are mainly abroad and involve extensive travel. Essentially the role suits someone who likes travel and is prepared for long assignments. Assignments usually return home every 4–8 weeks, and periods between foreign trips may be spent on vacation or local projects. Who is the role for? You can be an experienced commissioning engineer or at an early stage; the most important is solid fundamentals and a willingness to grow. We hope you have: prior PLC programming and/or commissioning experience; willingness to travel a lot (~200 travel days/year); ability to work under pressure; good collaboration and communication skills; fluent Finnish and English. In open projects the tools include Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Codesys. Knowledge of any of these is a good starting point. What we offer?
