Personal Assistant

We are looking for one (1) permanent and one (1) long-term substitute assistant to assist a married couple. My wife and I suffer from neurological diseases that progressively impair our functional capacity. We need an assistant for all daily activities such as eating, hygiene, mobility, and running errands. Assistive devices include a ceiling hoist, manual wheelchairs, and a shower chair. Working days are generally Monday-Sunday between 8:00 and 21:00 in two shifts (8-15 / 14-21). The length of the shifts is negotiable and not set in stone. Work begins as soon as a suitable person is found. The assistant's job description includes: - medication management - hygiene care, including intimate hygiene - nursing care - cooking and assistance with eating - pushing the wheelchair - accompanying in leisure activities - household chores I will provide guidance in all tasks, and orientation will be provided. The location is in the center of Loimaa. Salary according to Heta-TES (salary class B2). The permanent position will be filled as soon as a suitable employee is found.
