Folkhälsan Välfärd Ab is seeking substitutes for home care in Ekenäs We are looking for those who are studying or already have an education in the social and health care industry. In home care, we provide support to stay at home and live an independent life. We help with daily chores, personal care, social support, or care in the home. The work is independent and you work in two shifts; working hours are between 7:00 and 21:00. The work takes place primarily in the two different Folkhälsan houses and in the vicinity of them in Ekenäs. An approved medication permit and hygiene pass are necessary. The work requires the following qualifications: - For practical nurses, a practical nurse degree or equivalent previous degree, such as assistant nurse or primary nurse, with registration in Valvira is required. We assume that you as a practical nurse also have an approved medication permit. - We also welcome students in the social and health care industry with at least 60 ECTS credits. - Our working language is Swedish and we assume good skills in both speaking and writing; one should also be proficient in spoken Finnish. As a substitute at Folkhälsan, you will gain a broad network and valuable work experience. It is an excellent possibility to combine the substitute job with studies or another part-time job. Employees in the residential and service sector are required to have vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis investigation according to Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. In accordance with the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023), the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract. Folkhälsan is a smoke-free workplace.
