Systempoint Oy is a Finnish privately owned, reliable and financially solid company specializing in building automation and mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering (MEP). The company designs, programs, installs, modernizes and maintains building technical systems in demanding facilities across Finland. The company is growing, and we are recruiting a Building Automation Professional as a Project Manager who will oversee building automation projects from start to finish. The role combines project management, client collaboration, installation supervision, point and graphics creation, programming, testing and change management. Projects involve visiting customer sites approximately 2–3 days per week in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Key responsibilities include overall project ownership from handover from sales, planning, scheduling and project completion; client and contractor collaboration with customers, designers and electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractors; Fidelix system work and graphics including point definitions, device configurations (e.g., PID tuning and alarm limits), IEC Structured Text programming and system graphics; installation leadership and commissioning, guiding installers, testing, verifying functionality and commissioning various systems (e.g., AHU and HVAC packages); handling changes and project administration including change order drafting, costings, customer agreements and processing invoices and project documentation; reviewing plans for technical correctness and implementing changes; coordinating materials and equipment procurement and approving valves, devices and solutions. Desirable but not required: technical education in electrical engineering, English language skills, additional DDC/PLC system knowledge (e.g., Ouman, Schneider, Beckhoff, Siemens, Regin). The successful candidate is proactive, autonomous, systematic, able to anticipate situations, a good problem-solver, able to deliver tasks, a good team-player, able to plan and keep schedules, communicate with diverse people and committed to continuous learning.
