Work starts: possibly soon or by agreement Location: Iisalmi Employment: fixed-term until 4.6.2027 Working hours: 30 h/week What is this job about? As a school assistant, your task is to guide and motivate students in learning events and to assist and support them, for example, in communication, dressing, eating, and movement. The students' functional capacity affects the type of help or support needed. You will work in cooperation with the students' close networks as part of a multidisciplinary team. The tasks are diverse and varied. In the role of a school assistant, an encouraging and rehabilitative approach is needed to support the student's autonomy and identify strengths. We hope you have: - a proactive approach - good cooperation and interaction skills - flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations - experience in guiding students with care needs - versatile special support expertise - suitable education for the position (e.g., practical nurse or school assistant training). At Spesia, you will become part of a great multidisciplinary work community in socially meaningful work. The work is part-time 30 h / week, except for the institution's holiday periods, during which no work is offered. In remuneration and other terms of employment, we follow the collective agreement for the private education sector. The salary range for the position is approximately €1,681 – €1,930 / month. The salary depends on the amount of previous work experience that brings essential benefit to the position. The mentioned salary range corresponds to the working hours (30h/week) stated in the announcement. The person selected for the position must provide a criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 on the verification of the criminal background of persons working with children and youth.
