Substitute Teacher

Mäntsälä's educational services are guided by a customer service perspective, with children and young people at the center. We are united by a common goal to develop the well-being of students and staff, pedagogy, and a safe learning environment. We believe in a responsible work approach and a team-based way of working. In Mäntsälä, there are 11 primary schools, 1 comprehensive school, 1 middle school, and 1 upper secondary school. We offer substitutes of various lengths for classroom teachers, subject teachers, and school assistants. Longer substitutions are also announced separately on the municipality's website / Open jobs. For short-term substitutions, we hire professionals in the field as well as those studying in the field and others interested in the field. We require the age of 18. The selected substitute must present a register extract according to Act No. 504/2002. Please note that work is available irregularly and on short notice. Once you have filled out and sent the open application for teaching, the application is immediately entered into our electronic recruitment system. After filling out the application, you will receive a username and password by email. You will need the username and password in the future when using your electronic calendar or updating your application. After receiving your application, we will contact you to agree on an interview time. In the interview, we will also guide you on the use of the electronic calendar and together define the units in which you want to work. After the interview, you can start using your electronic calendar. When you have filled in your calendar, you will receive job offers from us by text message to your phone on your desired days.
