Job Description
Would you like to lead the kitchen, develop its operations, and play a central role in creating memorable dining experiences? We are now seeking a Head Chef for our client in Rovaniemi, responsible for the Three Elves and Santas Cuisine restaurants at Santa Claus Holiday Village. You will succeed if you are a skilled supervisor who ensures smooth operation of the kitchen and team. You have the ability to combine daily operational tasks with planned development. This is a clear leadership role for the upcoming winter season. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and its efficiency, working together with the restaurant manager who will be your supervisor. You will lead the kitchen comprehensively, ensuring continuous development of operations and smooth production processes. You will ensure that dish quality, pre-preparation, and raw material handling meet the agreed quality standards. You will also be involved in menu planning as an expert and be responsible for placing orders and managing inventories. You will handle procurement of raw materials, inventory management, and cost monitoring, ensuring profitable and efficient kitchen operations. You will plan work shifts and resourcing, lead, train, and develop your team while supporting staff well-being. Additionally, you will ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements, monitor and lead the financial situation of the kitchen, and develop operations in collaboration with the rest of the organization.
