We are looking for an adult, Finnish-speaking SERVICE SPECIALIST FOR GOVERNMENT SITE CLEANING TASKS IN THE LAHTI AREA. Job duties include daily maintenance cleaning of offices and public areas according to a weekly cleaning plan, including the use of cleaning machines. Additionally, duties include basic cleaning tasks such as floor washing and window cleaning. Other cleaning professionals also work at the sites, but daily maintenance cleaning tasks are performed mainly independently after the orientation period. Of course, support from the team/supervisor is always available, at least by phone! Shifts are between Monday and Friday, 06:00–14:00. Weekly working hours: 37.5h/week. Cleaning work at a government site is a combination of professionalism, comfort, and cleanliness! Your key tasks are: - Maintenance cleaning tasks using manual and machine methods. Cleaning tasks include, among others, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping contact surfaces. - Maintaining hygiene levels: daily cleaning of WC facilities, washing surfaces in kitchen and break areas, refilling hand and toilet paper. - Emptying waste bins - Communication and cooperation with customers and staff. - Reporting damages and maintenance needs according to instructions. - Maintenance and cleaning of cleaning equipment The work of a government site cleaner is meaningful, as it is a central part of the customer's operations, directly affecting the well-being, safety, and working conditions of employees and visitors. You ensure the comfort of the environment, promote hygiene and health, create the first impression of the agency and affect the agency's reputation, and take care of the safety of the facilities and the environment. We expect from the applicant: - Fluent Finnish language skills to support communication and workplace safety. - Previous experience in cleaning work for at least 1 year - Legal age (18+) - A sunny customer service attitude as well as a brisk and proactive approach to work - Flexibility in working hours as needed - A clean criminal record (a limited security clearance will be conducted for selected persons before the start of employment) Cleaning industry education is considered an advantage. However, this is not mandatory; you will receive orientation on the tools and the site's cleaning methods. However, you should have cleaned enough to know the tools by name and know how to use most of the equipment. Salary follows the property services industry collective agreement in salary group 2 (12.59 €/h). During the orientation period, salary group 1 (11.33 €/h). Work starts by agreement / during August.
