Registered Nurse – Ryhmäkoti Salliva, Lohja Do you want to do meaningful work in mental health and substance abuse services? We are seeking a registered nurse for a permanent position at Ryhmäkoti Salliva in Lohja. Ryhmäkoti Salliva is a 13-place 24-hour residential unit for adult clients with mental health and substance abuse challenges. Our operations are based on the Housing First principle, recovery orientation, and the Open Dialogue operational model. We work actively with clients using substances, providing a safe daily life, healthcare expertise, and individual support. Job Duties As a registered nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role combines nursing expertise with everyday guidance. With us, the nurse is genuinely involved in the clients' daily lives – not only as a healthcare expert. Your duties include, among others: - monitoring and assessing clients' health status - implementing and developing medication therapy - collaborating with doctors, wellbeing services counties, and other partners - client work and everyday guidance - supporting clients in activities such as cooking, cleaning, errands, official visits, and other daily situations - conversational and network work with clients - implementing care and service plans - documenting in a Kanta-compatible client information system - participating in the development of the unit's operations and nursing care. The work is versatile, and there are no separate nurse or instructor shifts in our unit. Every employee participates in the shared daily routine, and the nurse's professional expertise is utilized in promoting and treating clients' health. We hope for - a degree as a licensed registered nurse (Bachelor of Health Care) - valid medication dispensing permits or readiness to obtain them - interest in mental health and substance abuse work - ability to treat people with respect even in challenging situations - good interaction and cooperation skills - a proactive and responsible approach to work. Previous experience in mental health, substance abuse, or residential services is considered an advantage, but the most important thing is the desire to meet clients authentically and work alongside them.
