Compute Nordic Finland Oy is seeking a Finance Manager to take responsibility for the financial management of its Finnish operations and participate in building the organization's administrative and HR processes. The role is central to a rapidly growing data center business building its presence in Finland as part of an international group. Reporting to the CEO of the Finnish company, the Finance Manager will work closely with the group's finance organization and external expert partners. Key responsibilities include managing the overall financial administration, handling monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the group, and participating in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role also involves monitoring cash flow, costs, and investments, providing financial analyses for management, and developing financial processes and internal control models. Additionally, the position includes HR and administrative duties, such as coordinating personnel processes with external HR partners and supporting recruitment and onboarding practices. The ideal candidate has several years of experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar responsible financial role, preferably with a background in growth companies. Proficiency in international environments and group reporting is required, along with strong skills in financial analysis and a desire to build operational models from the ground up. Fluency in both Finnish and English is essential.

- Overall responsibility for the financial administration of the Finnish company
- Local financial administration lead in cooperation with external service providers
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the group
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning of the business
- Monitoring cash flow, costs, and investments
- Producing financial analyses and decision support for management
- Developing financial processes, reporting practices, and internal control models
- Participating in closing, tax, and auditing processes with partners
- Building and developing financial processes and operational models for a growing organization
- Supporting organizational growth from HR and administrative perspectives
- Coordinating personnel processes with external HR partners
- Participating in recruitment, employment matters, and HR process development
- Supporting the creation of onboarding and personnel policies
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Finance Manager or similar responsible financial role
- Experience in independent management and development of financial administration
- Background in growth companies or rapidly growing businesses preferred
- Familiarity with international operating environments and group reporting
- Experience in developing financial processes, reporting, or operational models
- Strong expertise in financial management and reporting
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial business analysis
- Good system skills and interest in reporting and automation development
- Understanding of HR practices and employment matters valued
- Fluency in Finnish and English
