Security Coordinator

We are seeking a Security Coordinator for Terrafame’s mine in Sotkamo to join our team. You will help start Tapojärvi operations at the Terrafame mine in Sotkamo, developing safety operating models and contributing to building a safety culture as part of a diverse and responsible work environment. We expect a strong commitment to workplace safety, the ability to lead by example in safety culture development, and the willingness to address observed issues constructively and with a solution-focused approach. Qualifications include relevant training and experience in safety development, and experience using safety observations, risk assessments, safety rounds, or other proactive safety tools in areas such as infrastructure, earthworks, mining, or industry. You should have good collaboration and interpersonal skills, and the ability to coach and engage staff in safe practices.
