Substation Technician

The role is placed in the Power business unit, where we help our customers realize the energy transition with lifecycle services. We plan and build power transmission networks, substations and battery storages. We also provide maintenance services for the energy sector. Tasks: Installation and maintenance (transmission networks, regional networks and substations for renewable energy production); inspections, safety, planning and project management (electrical and mechanical); site arrangements, project planning, execution and documentation; with experience you can act as lead, responsible for electrical safety, mentoring and project management in maintenance projects; work includes working at height. Requirements: Relevant electrical engineering education; previous relevant experience; experience with electrical distribution equipment maintenance, construction or automation; understanding/interest in various electrical measurements; travel readiness and flexibility in working hours; positive attitude and good teamwork; good IT skills; at least B driving license (BE license recommended for the role); the following qualifications are considered advantageous: safety training, hot work, EA1, Sätky and Tieturva 1 trainings.
