Earthmoving Worker

We are looking for an experienced earthmoving worker for a job site in Helsinki. The role involves a variety of earthmoving tasks according to the site needs. Duties may include assisting with excavation work, trenching, finishing and protecting trenches, backfilling and compaction, assisting with the installation of pipes, wells and lines, assisting with drainage and stormwater work, material handling and maintaining site cleanliness, and other general earthworks on the site. The role suits a worker with previous experience in earthmoving tasks who can take on different work phases with a proactive and independent approach. Experience with pipe installation is considered an advantage. Expected qualifications include previous experience in earthmoving, a proactive attitude, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, carefulness and responsibility in daily site tasks, a valid occupational safety card, Finnish language skills, and commitment to work through the autumn. Benefits of prior experience in pipe installations, trenching/backfilling/compaction, drainage/stormwater/sewer work, other earthmoving equipment or tools usage, and a valid driving license (B) are considered advantageous.
