We are currently looking for a Lead Risk Officer for a permanent employment contract to be responsible for the management of Henki-Fennia's risk management. This is a key role in which you are responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of Henki-Fennia's risk management framework as part of the Fennia Group's risk management entity. In the position, you ensure that the company's risk management supports business objectives, solvency, good governance and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with Henki-Fennia's management, board and the Fennia Group's risk management. The position offers a vantage point into the life insurance business and the opportunity to significantly influence the development of the company's risk management and support for decision-making. In this position: - You are responsible for the management of Henki-Fennia's statutory risk management and the development, maintenance and monitoring of the risk management framework in accordance with the guidance of the Fennia Group's risk management. - You continuously monitor the company's risk position relative to the risk appetite and assess the impact of risks on business, solvency and strategy implementation. - You report regularly to the company's board, management and the Fennia Group's Chief Risk Officer on the company's risk position and its development. - You support the business and management from a risk management perspective and develop risk management practices in cooperation with different functions. - You are responsible for coordinating the ORSA process and regulatory reporting in Henki-Fennia in accordance with the Fennia Group's practices. - You substitute for the Fennia Group's Chief Risk Officer if necessary. We expect from you: We are looking for an experienced risk management professional who understands the operating environment of the insurance business, regulation and the role of risk management as a business enabler. We hope for: - At least five years of experience in risk management tasks in the financial sector. Experience in life insurance is considered an advantage. - Practical experience in solvency reporting, governance system, ORSA process and the application of relevant regulation in life insurance business (e.g. Solvency II). - Experience in reporting to the board and preparing materials to support decision-making. - Ability to develop the risk management function independently and in a way that supports the business. - Good interaction and teamwork skills - Fluent Finnish and English language skills (Swedish is considered an advantage) - A higher education degree suitable for the position. Requirements

- Ability to develop risk management functions independently
- Fluent in Finnish and English
- Higher education degree
